Hazards Beach - The Fastest Way to Wineglass Bay
Enjoy a scenic 30-minute cruise along the striking granite coastline of Great Oyster Bay, while our local guides share fascinating stories about the area’s history and wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for seals, seabirds, dolphins, and even migrating whales who might pop up to say hi!
Upon landing at Hazards Beach, it is a gentle 2-kilometre bushwalk along the Isthmus Track to Wineglass Bay. This 30-minute walk takes you through classic Australian bushland, where you’ll have a chance to spot native flora and fauna along the well-marked trail. Keep a lookout for friendly echidnas and wallabies as you make your way to the soft white sands and crystal-clear waters of Wineglass Bay.
Be sure to pack your beach gear and a picnic. We recommend taking a few hours to unwind on the pristine beach and dip your toes in the sparkling sea before heading back to Coles Bay by boat from Hazards Beach or bushwalk via Hazards Circuit or Wineglass Bay Lookout routes.

Cooks Beach - Bushwalker Camping
Cooks Beach is a popular camping spot for bushwalkers undertaking the Freycinet Peninsula Circuit walk. We provide a daily transfer service for bushwalkers travelling to/from Cooks Beach.
Here you can enjoy a peaceful and remote camping experience with only a small number of campsites. It is not possible to reserve a camp site, and there's no guarantees a spot will be available when you arrive. There are toilets at Cooks Beach but otherwise you must be fully self-sufficient and prepared for camping in a remote environment.
For more information please view the Frecyinet overnight walker camping page of the Parks & Wildlife Service website.
There may be times when our boat may not be able to access Cooks Beach and in this case, you will need to be prepared to walk out to Hazards Beach.
